Chemistry matters. Be part of the solution.
About Us
We’re the American Chemical Society (ACS) student chapter here at UT Austin. ACS is the largest professional group of chemists in the world, and our club acts as a liaison for UT students to the national organization. Additionally, we’re the only student organization focused solely on chemistry, so we're the best resource for connecting you to other students who can answer all your questions about your chemistry career!
Each year we send out our most active members to the ACS Spring national conference, paying for their travel and housing. It's a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the word of chemistry, network, or even present your own research.
Each Wednesday from 5-6 PM we hold a meeting in WEL 4.132B, which will either be a knowledgeable speaker from academia or industry, or an events - outreach, social , fundraising, or professional development.
If you have any interest in science or chemistry, you will find like minded people here, so come on over and join us!
